Part 1:
Long Essay Outline –
Please complete each of the 10 long essay outlines. You need to find two works of art that fit each category, and give 3 reasons to back up your opinion. Make sure you are using Art Beyond the European Tradition (Africa, Oceania, the Americas, Indian, and Asia) when asked to.
Part 2:
Sketchbook Timeline -
In the back of your sketchbook, please create a timeline with the images that you have received. Identify the style, the time of that style, and then ID each piece of artwork. This needs to be in chronological order, starting with Ancient Near East and ending with the Renaissance! See example below!

Complete the box sheet. This will be a good wrap-up/summary for the architecture of the Baroque Period. For each piece of art, fully identify with title, artist, date, and time period. Include the function, style, and significance about each piece.

Baroque Architecture vs. Frank Gehry
Baroque architecture witnessed a transition from the orderly designs of the Renaissance to one of tumultuous drama and movement. The architecture of Frank Gehry today marks a similar departure from the orderly forms of modernist architecture. Select and fully identify a structure created during the Baroque period and a structure designed by the architect Frank Gehry. Discuss how each structure reacted against an earlier architectural movement and why.
