Answer these two questions:
- The Greeks developed the concept of humanism and created the concept of the individual. What is meant by these terms and how is it evident in their art?
- Explain the Greek interest in depicting the human form and its difference from the earlier civilizations of
Egypt Near East . Why nudity? Why does the form evolve?
Extra Credit: Create a metal design based on an artwork from the Aegean chapter. Remember to repousse!

Sketchbook Assignment:
Draw each of the three orders of columns in your sketchbook. Label each of the parts. Make annotations to which temples use what column type of column- use your textbook and review book.
Make sure to bring your sketchbook to class!
